NB-Knezice A/S bought Zamek Knezice castle in 2003. The Castle is located in the village of Petrovice of Susice district in Plzen County. Earlier the castle was used as a home for elderly people, but after the renovation of the local hospital a new home was created for the elderly, and the castle became vacant.
DBO has good contacts with the authorities of Plzen and it has cooperated with them in a range of projects since 1995. Upon request DBO was looking for a suitable location for the hotel and conference center in the Czech Republic and identified Zamek Castle as a potential site for the project.
