IAI is a steel manufacturing company with its production centers in the city of Langeskov on the island of Fyn and in the harbour of Vejle. As many clients of IAI moved their production to Eastern-Europe, IAI was also expected to follow them and start operations in the area. Therefore IAI open a production facility in Gyor, in the western part of Hungary, a region without companies of a similar profile. As this move was not relocation but an expansion of the business operations of IAI, it did not cause any loss of working places within Denmark.
